Monster High Cake

My oldest daughter turned 9!  She is crazy about Monster High.  So of course that is the cake she wanted.  This is what she saw me making... But as a surprise we added the Lagoon Blue doll to go with the it.

So my kids are always wanting to "help" me with my cakes.  So I decided to let them make there grandmothers birthday cake. They both picked out there colors and designs and took half of the cake and went crazy.  Turned out pretty cool!  And of course grandma LOVED it!!

We did a joint YAYA birthday celebration for Ashley, Laura and Jen.  Since they all have birthdays in June.  We have a ladybug for Ashley, Butterfly's for Laura, a dragon fly for Jen and (even though it is not my birthday) Daisy's for me.  It was a big hit and not only for looks....   mmmmmm Carrot cake with cream cheese frosting. My favorite!!!

Bob the builder

For a great guy's 70th Birthday.  His wife asked me to do a Bob the builder cake since he is a retired Builder and in case you didnt guess his name is Bob!  Decorations are made from marshmellow fondant.  Bob was made using Wiltons Color Flow icing.
